Terms of Use
Last updated: October 4, 2026
1. Purpose and acceptance
These terms govern access to and use of the savquebec.com website, which is operated by SAV Québec (NEQ 2282352212). By browsing the website, you accept these terms; if you do not accept them, please do not use it.
2. Nature of the website: no contractual offer
The website presents the outsourced, white-label after-sales services that SAV Québec offers to manufacturers and distributors. Its content is provided for information, to help you evaluate our services. It is not an offer to contract: no sale or payment takes place on the website. The terms of our services (scope, pricing, service levels, duration, termination, liability, confidentiality and protection of personal information) are set out in a written service agreement with each client. If there is any discrepancy, that agreement prevails over the content of the website.
The examples, timeframes and figures shown on the website are indicative and may vary depending on your situation.
3. General information, not legal advice
Some pages, including the one on the legal warranty, summarize general obligations set out in the law. They are not legal advice and do not replace consulting a professional or official sources such as the Office de la protection du consommateur. SAV Québec does not guarantee that these summaries are complete or current at the time you read them.
4. Permitted use
You may view the website, including for business purposes, to learn about our services and contact us. You agree not to:
- use the website for illegal, fraudulent or misleading purposes;
- submit false information through the form, a third party's information without their permission, or unsolicited messages;
- attempt to gain unauthorized access to the website, our systems or our providers' systems, or interfere with their operation;
- extract or reuse the website's content by automated means (bots, scraping) without written permission, except indexing by search engines;
- transmit a virus or any other malicious code.
5. Intellectual property
The SAV Québec name and logo, as well as the website's text, illustrations, graphics and layout, belong to SAV Québec or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. You may view them and quote short excerpts with attribution. Any other reproduction, adaptation or use, including commercial use, requires our prior written permission. Third-party trademarks mentioned on the website belong to their respective owners.
6. Personal information
Information you send us through the website is handled in accordance with our privacy policy.
7. Availability and accuracy
We make reasonable efforts to keep the website accurate, current and available, but we cannot guarantee that it is error-free or available without interruption. We may change, suspend or remove all or part of the website at any time.
8. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, SAV Québec is not liable for damages arising from the use of, or inability to use, the website, or from decisions made solely on the basis of its informational content. This limitation does not apply to material injury caused by intentional or gross fault, or to bodily or moral injury, and it does not restrict any right you have under public-order legislation, including Québec's Consumer Protection Act if you are a consumer.
9. Links to other websites
The website contains links to third-party websites (for example, public bodies). We have no control over these websites and are not responsible for their content or privacy practices.
10. Changes
We may change these terms; the current version and its update date are always published on this page. Changes apply from their publication and have no retroactive effect.
11. Governing law and jurisdiction
These terms are governed by the laws of Québec and the federal laws of Canada that apply there. Any dispute falls under the jurisdiction of the Québec courts sitting in the judicial district of Montréal, subject to public-order rules that allow, among other things, a consumer to bring a claim before the court of their domicile.
12. General provisions
If any provision of these terms is found invalid or unenforceable, the other provisions remain in effect. Failure to exercise a right is not a waiver of that right. These terms are written in French and translated into English; if there is any discrepancy, the French version prevails.
13. Contact us
